A balancing tower of red eared slider turtles are looking back at themselves reflected from above. How cool that turtles do this in the wild— something that I had to paint. Their colorful shells and bodies were inspired by the beautiful colors and patterns that naturally occur in geodes- more miracles of nature. They are set against a mod “wallpaper” background of abstracted stacked stones in grays and metallic gold.
